Safety before extraction

Archive paths are checked for traversal, absolute locations, misleading double extensions, control characters, executable content and extreme declared expansion ratios.

Supported ZIP features

Classic single-disk ZIP archives using Store or Deflate are supported. Encrypted entries, multi-disk archives, ZIP64 and uncommon compression methods are reported but not silently guessed.

Memory has limits

Creating or rebuilding an archive necessarily reads entry data in the browser. Very large archives may exceed your device memory even though nothing is uploaded.
