Pagan Batch Renamer

Turn camera dumps, downloads and project assets into consistent filenames with a live, collision-aware plan before downloading renamed copies.

Your original files are never changed or uploaded

A website cannot silently rename files on your disk. Pagan Earth reads only names and file metadata while you plan, then creates renamed copies or a ZIP after an explicit download action.

Order & safety

Preview before download

Every resulting path is calculated first. Case-insensitive duplicates and invalid regular expressions are shown before any output is created.

Dates mean file dates

Date tokens use the file’s browser-provided last-modified timestamp. They do not claim to read camera EXIF capture dates.

Web limitation, stated honestly

The browser version creates renamed copies. Directly changing files in their original folders belongs in a future explicitly permitted desktop version.
